Threaded Body
Because we really can not see our muscles tend to forget its importance and most of us have no idea how much it can affect our health and wellbeing, especially as we age. Not only do our muscles that keep us upright and maintain our bones are the mechanism that drives the engine of our body (your metabolism) and our means of circulation.
They let us run, jump, pull and lift heavy objects or perform work Precision like threading a tiny needle or paint a picture. We hope that our muscles will always be there for us and will continue to work in the background as faithful servants never complained. But if it keeps them strong in building muscle and maintaining the activity we are surely going to lose.
The men and women between the ages of 20 and 50 who is not an appropriate program of strength training instead lost a half pound of muscle per year. This amount seems small and is but the problem is that it is cumulative. It's a snowball, little by little by little until after a decade is 5 pounds and is 30 years after 15 pounds.
Then we have a problem? loss of 15 pounds of muscle tissue is a serious problem and can manifest in physical illnesses back pain, knee or shoulder pain, diabetes, arthritis or heart disease. And from there is a spiral of degeneration we used to call the aging process, but now we know that there is more than enough proper exercise.
To make matters worse, along with tissue loss muscle ounce per ounce, the men and women are winning the body fat in three times the rate of about 1 ½ pounds each year. This adds up to 15 pounds per decade or an amazing 45 pounds of body fat increased more than 30 years. Ouch!
This increased fat pad is usually hidden as areas that have lost muscle tissue filling the spaces and of course the scale does not show the true image as hidden fat gain muscle loss. Scales only show the overall increase in body weight of 30 pounds.
But with the loss of 15 pounds of muscle and gain 45 pounds of fat composition body is a much changed scene. Now is a time bomb as health risks go. This loss of muscle not only weakens the body weakens the system immunity, thus leaving you at risk of major diseases, especially the big 'three' villains, heart disease, cancer and diabetes.
But you do not have to go this way. In just 2-3 sessions per week of an appropriate exercise program that contains mostly exercise strength training to avoid the negative health situation. But has that strength training exercise. I do not think long, slow activities such as walking, jogging or biking will never stop the loss of muscle tissue as it does not – not now? not at the moment? not ever.

You can waste precious time and effort into a scheme of activity that could be either as part of an active lifestyle, but not effective against the output current physical decay of our modern lifestyles free "work" are causing us inactive.
